Sure. Those were the good old bad old days..
but size of data isn't really so much of an issue, more
important is the ability to be able to process it
readily.
Of course. any representation of business data in
an XML family format can benefit enourmously from
compression.
I'm always astounded that an 800,000k xml file can
be compressed to around 60k (I think from memory).
