There are already some solutions available, such as ITU-T X.694 | ISO/IEC
8825-5 "Mapping W3C XML schema definitions into ASN.1", which is already
an International Standard. There is also ITU-T X.891 | ISO/IEC
24824-1 "Fast Infoset" which is expected to be an International
Standard by the end of this year. Fast Infoset can handle XML
documents that do not have a corresponding W3C XML schema.
