  • Thread-topic: WSDL 2.0 released as W3C Candidate Recommendation

On January 8, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) issued Web Services Description (WSDL) 2.0 as a W3C Candidate Recommendation, where the specification is designated as ready for implementation. At this point, the spec is tested for implementability and the interoperability of implementations.

The Core Spec, Adjuncts and Primer can be found at:

·         Core Spec: http://www.w3.org/TR/wsdl20

·         Adjuncts (MEPs): http://www.w3.org/TR/wsdl20-adjuncts

·         Primer: http://www.w3.org/TR/wsdl20-primer

As such, the call for implementations has been posted to identify those with an interest in participating in this implementation and interop testing process.
