Also, for the most part, XML is done and one can find the answers in the
archives or multiple other resources. So that leaves the tutoring and even
those answers are widely available. Once development of XML itself
concluded, tutoring and application are the two major basins of
conversation.
Take Xlink. Having been declared dead often, it is still in use but in
'slightly different ways' which means there is no specification for a clear
and implementable object model. XML is not about objects so unless the
topical space of the list expands, it won't make progress.
Cultures and conversations choke on unstated assumptions as much as a lack
of moderation.
So what are you guys gonna do without Tony Blair to kick around? ;-)
