Fantastic, mother!

I will always remember (because it got me out of a tight spot) being
totally blown away (i.e. extremely impressed) when I realized that in my
XSLT I could test the truthfulness of the results of an XQuery function
that did complex data value comparisons across multiple source files -
and all this without even an extra namespace declaration.  This is what
you should read about when you look up "seamless integration" in
Wikipedia.

Given human nature and the exigencies of the standardization process,
this is a remarkable achievement, all the more so when you realize it
required this family of standards to evolve towards a harmonized vision
in a multi-year effort.
