yax XProc (XML Pipeline Language) Implementation, new: ant interface, log4j logging, comprehensive collection of examples

Hi,

 

I have posted a new (pre alpha) release of yax – an XProc Implementation at http://yax.sourceforge.net.

 

The following features and components are new:

 

-          Apache Ant Interface

-          Flexible logging (log4j logger, console logger, redirection to ant in ant mode)

-          Comprehensive collection of examples (which explains all feature and how to use them)

-          Stabilized steps and containers

 

You can use now the following components:

 

-          Pipeline

-          Choose/When/Otherwise

-          Try/Group/Catch

 

-     XSLT (usage of different transformers)

-          XInclude

-          Load

-          Store

-     Identity

 

-     Parameter

 

-     Pipeline-Library

 

Other features are:

 

-     Configuration via preferences

-     Property and property files

-     Passing properties to Proc script and

-     Passing properties through the XProc script to XSLT processor

-     Outer I/O (passing resources via start parameters) and inner I/O (using steps Load/Store)

-     extended Documentation

-          Comprehensive collection of examples (which explains all feature and how to use them)
