This is definitely a good idea!

Please note (with my pedantic W3C hat on my head) that W3C doesn't
actually publish conformance tests for parsers -- rather, the test
is to see if the specification has been implemented.
So although these tests seem useful to people, you should also look
for parser-specific regression tests.
