To the extent that there are 1) standardized JavaScript
implementations with the proper feature sets (IE secure sandboxes);
and 2), there are standardized browser APIs for it to hit: then no,
that seems reasonable enough. Unfortunately, I think much of the
lament is that 2) is no where close to happening?
