Hi Folks,
I created a complete course on EXI, including tutorial, examples, lab exercises, and tools:
http://www.xfront.com/EXI/
The free, open-source EXI tool called EXIficient is used to convert text-formatted XML documents to binary-formatted XML documents and vice versa.
The free, open-source tool called the EXIValidator is used to validate binary-formatted XML documents (and text-formatted XML documents) against XML Schemas.
Thanks to Daniel Peintner who created EXIficient and graciously allowed me to bundle it with my course material.
Thanks to Craig Garrett who created EXIValidator and graciously allowed me to bundle it with my course material.
Thanks to Mike Cokus and Craig Garrett for helping me to understand EXI.
/Roger
