RE: [xml-dev] XML Conference archives

This really is a key point about the internet.
By its very nature the relationships between URI, URL, and availability are transient.

Where do we turn to when we want  a real long lasting document identifier and some measure of commitment to archival ?
Unfortunately that is not what the internet really is ... but it is what  its often used for ... arg.
