I think a lot of us in practice just use the 'rapper' utility from
raptor-utils - Raptor RDF parser and serializer utilities (part of
librdf, aka Redland)
It doesn't claim to be a formal validator, but is a reasonable measure
for whether the input matches reasonable form for one of several
different RDF triple syntaxes, including RDF/XML.
