Did you mean "easier" or is there a concept of an "early modeling tool" that I have managed to stay unaware of? Asking not to nitpick, but rather because I _could_ imagine RNG, or maybe rather RNC, to be addressed as an "early tool" for modeling.

Yeah that should be "easier." Alas the article's so old I can't imagine I could hunt down the right editor to change it.
