Isn't that what a schema is?
A DTD schema and a RELAX-NG schema express the constraints on
vocabulary structure and values based on a pattern grammar.
A W3C XSD schema expresses the constraints on vocabulary structure
and values based on type inheritance.
A Schematron schema expresses the constraints on vocabulary structure
and values based on a set of assertions.
I think you need to be more specific in your question by asking if
someone has created an XML vocabulary for particular kinds of
constraints you are interested in. I think your question is too
general, but perhaps others can read more into it than what I am seeing.
