Hi all,
I am happy to announce that a new version of oXygen XML Editor is
available from our website
http://www.oxygenxml.com
I will highlight only two of the many new additions below (one on the
XML development and one on the visual XML authoring support). You can
find the complete list of new features and details on the new version
release notes page
http://oxygenxml.com/whatisnew15.2.html
1/2 - XML development
*Accurate error location for Schematron schema validation*
The Schematron validation is a multi-step process and in general errors
are reported as they are received, referring to intermediary files that
the user cannot see. oXygen 15.2 intercepts errors at any stage and
relocates them back on the original Schematron code. For example, if you
have an error in an XPath expression in Schematron, that may be detected
only when the XSLT that represents the compiled Schematron is compiled,
that is the final step in the Schematron schema processing. oXygen can
trace that XPath error back to the Schematron source, as you can see in
this Screenshot

2/2 - XML authoring
*Content completion flexible insert location*
When you want to insert a new element in the visual editing mode you are
not required to be in the exact location in the XML document where that
element is valid. oXygen will show you that the element is not valid at
the current location (rendering it with gray) but you will be able to
select it and then a set of recovery strategies will be triggered and
oXygen will try to find a valid location for that element. This is very
useful especially when you do not display the XML tags in the visual
editing mode, you can insert elements that are valid in near-by
locations and oXygen will move them automatically to their valid positions.
I hope to see many of you next month in Prague at XML Prague 2014! If
you attend XML Prague do not forget about the pre-conference day on
Friday where you can attend many interesting sessions, including the
oXygen users meetup, packed with many short (10 minutes) presentations
on various oXygen and XML topics:

Best Regards,
George
