are OK.)  But I see that they were excluded in 3.0 and 2.4 as well.  Ugh! There's a nasty presentation problem in the book. (I don't have the print book in hand, so I'm not sure if it's bad or very bad.)  If you look in the online book, you'll see after the list of children the list of excluded elements. That needs to be made more explicit.  (I have this fear that that section doesn't appear at all in the print book. Double-ugh!)
