DOCBOOK: Simple question on JadeTeX output format

For the .tex (jadetex) output:

{0}\def\Quadding%
{start}\def\Hyphenate%
{0}\def\Language%
{EN}\def\Country%
{EN}\def\sbNom%
{6\p@}\def\sbMin%
{6\p@}\def\sbMax%
{6\p@}\def\sbConditional%
{1}\def\saNom%

is each line self-contained? That is, for the first line,
is that {0} the parameter to \def\Quadding\

	or

it goes to the next line and the parameter is {start}?

If it is the second, then these .tex files are not
so intuitive :(
