docbook 5.0b comment

db.date.contentmodel =
  xsd:date | xsd:dateTime | xsd:gYearMonth | xsd:gYear | text

It may have been a positive decision,
but I'm curious why the 'text' was left on the end
when tighter validation is possible.

I'd prefer the tighter option.

Any rationale please?
Particularly if this option is to be carried over
more generally?
