I think we still have the nomination issue to grapple with, but why
don't we work on that while Dee works on the group of voters from her
end?
The issue is this: Jim Cabral was added as a candidate by decision of
the SC on December 13, five days after the nominations otherwise
effectively closed, to be effective on the following Monday, December
18. I went along with this if the nominations were likewise opened to
the entire member section by posted notice. The notice did not go out.
Consequently, no one else got a chance to name or be a later-announced
candidate.
I believe John Greacen and I have voiced our opinions. Jim Cabral and
Don Bergeron did as well.
