The final invoice, taken together with a prior payment, apparently
exceeds the amounts authorized earlier by the SC by approximately
$1000. The prior payment was apparently made in derogation of the
procedure of the SC for payment approvals. The issue is ratification,
and further authorization from the SC to approve the invoice submitted
by WIU for work done by Dr. Leff, a longtime member of LegalXML and
valued contributor. A review of available funding sources and a brief
explanation from OASIS staff of how this situation developed would also
be greatly appreciated.
