Currently reads: "The value of an active page variable is the current page number plus the closest page adjustment value that was previously set."

Both "closest page adjustment value" - prior to this page? after this page? and "previously set" - before its present setting? - almost incoherent.

Ahem, we use "document order" in several critical places (7 to be exact) but never define it.
