We cite the CharModel for string (in part2) but that isn't the same thing as defining a sort order. Even saying asceding/descending, in terms of Unicode code points, isn't the same thing as sort order or at least is a very basic form of sort order. Sort orders are language and locale specific.
I will try to remember to look up the specifics on this tomorrow.
