@Michael: I agree that the note would be improved by that addition.
My concern is that we on the TC are so familiar with this one that we might not see how a reader might take a different direction in trying to determine what matters here. Although I think the reviewer might have not looked closely enough, I think the mistake is one that is easy to make and we take that as evidence that some safeguard needs to be added.
