Re: [ws-sx] Issue PR010: Value of @TrustVersion is not clear
Jan, I agree to use document URL(URI). One remaining problem is that the front page of the latest WS-Trust spec doesn't give the URL in the Location column (It lacks "http://"). I believe it will be fixed when it is finalized. --- NISHIMURA Toshihiro (FAMILY Given) STRATEGY AND TECHNOLOGY DIV., SOFTWARE UNIT, FUJITSU LIMITED At Mon, 8 Jan 2007 23:19:28 -0800, Jan Alexander wrote: > Toshihiro, > > The RequestSecurityTokenTemplate/@TrustVersion attribute should contain the appropriate WS-Trust specification document URL to indicate the WS-Trust version. > > To address this issue I propose to change the attribute description on lines 773-773 as follows: > > This optional attribute contains a WS-Trust specification document URI identifying the version of the WS-Trust referenced by the content of this element. > > Thanks, > --Jan > > -----Original Message----- > From: Greg Carpenter [mailto:] > Sent: Tuesday, December 12, 2006 3:58 PM > To: NISHIMURA Toshihiro; > Cc: Marc Goodner > Subject: [ws-sx] Issue PR010: Value of @TrustVersion is not clear > > Issue PR010. > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: NISHIMURA Toshihiro [mailto:] > > Sent: Monday, December 11, 2006 8:41 PM > > To: > > Cc: Marc Goodner > > Subject: [ws-sx] New Issue: Value of @TrustVersion is not clear > > > > PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL OR START A DISCUSSISON THREAD UNTIL > > THE ISSUE IS ASSIGNED A NUMBER. > > The issues coordinators will notify the list when that has occurred. > > > > Protocol: ws-sp > > > > http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/ws- > > sx/download.php/21401/ws-securitypolicy-1.2-spec-cd-01.pdf > > > > Artifact: spec > > > > Type: > > > > editorial > > > > Title: > > > > Value of @TrustVersion is not clear > > > > Description: > > > > In section 5.3.2, > > /sp:IssuedToken/sp:RequestSecurityTokenTemplate/@TrustVersion is > > described as follows: > > This optional attribute contains a URI identifying the version of > > WS-Trust referenced by the contents of this element. > > > > Does this mean the URI of WS-Trust document or the URI of WS-Trust > > namespace (or other URI?)? > > > > I hope this would be clarified. > > > > Related issues: > > > > none > > > > Proposed Resolution: > > > > --- > > NISHIMURA Toshihiro (FAMILY Given) > > > > STRATEGY AND TECHNOLOGY DIV., SOFTWARE UNIT, FUJITSU LIMITED
