Too bad that reified statements in RDF aren't the same as ordinary triples.
They are not necessarily asserted in the same way.  Seems like this would
cause lots of problems for a reasoner.

Topic maps do not have this particular problem, though they are not aligned
with any particular subset of logic in the way that OWL varieties are.
