2016 KMIP Interop Participant Call #2 - 4th December 2015 Agenda: Agenda review Minutes review for 18^th Dec Interop test scope and overview Interop Test timing The rules Adjourn Roll Call Tony C – Quorum achieved Approve Agenda Motion to approve Agenda: Tim H Moves, Jeff B Seconds, No objections, abstentions or comments. Approve Minutes Motion to approve Minutes from 18th December: Tim H Moves, Jeff B Seconds, No objections, abstentions or comments. Interop test scope, overview, timing and rules Tony thanks everyone for responses for process.  Now locked in. Don’t quite have unanimous consent.  Majority of participants accept. Thanks to Tim H for capability statements. Covers scope as previously discussed of the testing of KMIP 1.2 ,a range of test cases for KMIP 1.3,  and a small sample for 1.4.  We do need to demonstrate some new capability this year, to provide distinction from what we provided last year. All test cases have been uploaded to the main KMIP repository.  All should have got a copy.  If not, please let Tony know and docs will be forwarded. Any questions on capability statement? Clarification on colour-coded items  - where there is a colour block, they are mutually exclusive, you can basically only do one. They are mutually exclusive alternatives.  For the some of the groups, like capability of server, if you don’t match one of the ones in the set that is also OK because it is meant to represent what your server is claiming.  In 2015 interop, there was confusion so this year it has been colour coded. Note one test (round robin) is not in the claim sheet as vendors agreed to drop it for 2015 as no one was implementing it. If any vendor wants that included then they need to let everyone know this otherwise we will continue to leave it out of the test scope. Jeff  provided feedback for next year about the use of colours. Tony – Asks for any further questions – Nil.  Asks for agreement on test scopes.  All agree. Tony advised claim sheets to be returned by 12pm Wednesday US Pacific time. Participants are reminded that a claim sheet for each implementation should be returned. If doing a client and server specific test cases you would mark those unsupported. Adjourn Tim H moves, Jeff B seconds motion to adjourn. Call adjourned at 14:33 US-PST. -- 2015-02-11T02:35:00Z 1 26 152 1 1 177 14.00 X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Tony Cox KMIP Interop Lead [email protected]
