Greetings, KMIP Client Vendors! The Gemalto (SafeNet) KMIP server is listening on IP:port = 52.90.111.148 : 5696 If your client must authenticate the server, install the attached certificate into your client’s trusted CA list. Email your certificate requests in PEM format to me, and  I will return the signed certificates to you. Note that your username must be in the CN of the certificate request. Tell me that username in the email so that I may also add it to the server’s list of valid usernames. I must whitelist the IP of every client attempting to connect, so please also send me your client’s public IP address . To summarize, I need from you: 1. username [must be the same name as appears in your CSR’s CN field] 2. CSR [to be signed and returned – e.g. abc_req.pem (IN); abc_cert.pem (OUT) ] 3. Your client’s public IP address When I return your signed certificate, you can assume that I have also registered your client’s username and whitelisted your client’s public IP address .
