HI Stefan - it appears that Quick add is the culprit here. I just used Add a document in my testing group followed by Quick add. The first sent me an alert. The second form did not give me the option nor did it send an alert. I doubt we have a way to remove that so I suggest that everyone just make a mental note not to Quick add. In terms of the folders, we just set up the group with our usual default set. Kavi allows notifications to be turned off manually for any individual upload (I don't know if this was the case here), but the default is to send a message.
