The new wording mentions temporary or permanent redirect, but requires the reader to understand how redirects are done in HTTP:

"An OData service MAY (temporarily or permanently) redirect from the canonical URL to the actual URL."

I propose we give the reader a key into the appropriate http sections by including the status codes; i.e.,

"An OData service MAY respond with 301 Moved Permanently or 307 Temporary Redirect to redirect from the canonical URL to the actual URL."
