Two projects I know of: XUL from mozilla.org - lots of details on
their web site, and XGTK - an XML interface definition for GTK that uses
Perl to create applications. The latter is in alpha stage and only available
via CVS from gnome.org, but looks like an interesting project for perl
developers. XUL looks like it will be very powerful too, and allows the
control of events in Javascript.
