In the Microsoft framework of which IE is one product, look for the MSXML
object
and start there. Once you understand what it does, the rest becomes clear
given that as you say, you understand the theory behind it already. Best of
luck. Yes, it is ready for prime time. No, support among the two dominant
browsers is not even yet, so mileage varies.

One thing I am perplexed by is the seemingly sparse support for this new
language in the browsers, more specifically Netscape Navigator and Internet
Explorer.
