I suggest you include a dimension for documents
with single namespaces and multiple namespaces as
well. Some serious minds think that impacts
parser performance as well and is posed as
part of the RDF-over-XMLSchemas arguments.
These seemingly unrelated issues have a way
of becoming critical when choosing the right
mix of technologies for the local ecology,
particularly is one truly believes the local
ecology is an imprimatur for the global one.

The Binary Versus Text XML benchmarks I'm planning will include gzipped
and non-gzipped, and will involve the entire encoding / decoding path from
native data in C or Java or whatever to output bits...
