So then we get

+/- PSVI contributions
+/- namespace
+/- Blubbery
+/- ids
+/- xml:base
+/- xml:include
+/- xlink embed
= 256 flavours of XML systems even without addressing entity defaulting.
Thin uncordinated layers are the recipe for non-interoperability.
