Ah, but (aside from an apology about misspelling my name :-) no
apology is required, because you attributed the _sentiment_ correctly,
in that I entirely agree with Gavin about this. And I _think_ I agree
with you too, in that 'XML is just data' means the syntax _and the
tree-structure-with-links data model.
