Ah, I missed that last point and was using the 8601 version. Make it
-44-03-13 for XML Schema (ptui!). But Walter was making a different,
and to me rather invisible, point: it's inappropriate (he says)
to identify the forward-running AUC calendar with the retrospective
B.C.E. one; indeed, he wants to say that A.D. and C.E. calendars
are derived by different algorithms, although those happen to agree.
I will not say that he is gagging on a mouse and swallowing a camel,
because I don't see the camel.
