Yep. I know all of that. So imagine my surprise
when I saw that page from a current DevCon. Our
guess was that shipping dates had something to
do with it, but I am surprised that the VFP
team is introducing XDR as a "new" feature.
Any idea when or if the VFP team will catch up
to the corporate plan? It would save lots of us
a lot of monkey work. I realize VFP is not a
front runner product, but MS has yet to field
a VS/VB solution that is nearly as powerful when
it comes to build relational clients. VizFox is
a very powerful language for that.

XDR is a legacy technology in the same manner the XSL stylesheets that
use the "http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-xsl" namespace are. This doesn't mean
it isn't used or supported within various Microsoft products however we
are more committed to W3C XML Schema language moving forward. Our lack
of plans for XDR have already been previously discussed on this list[0].
