   RE: [xml-dev] Microsoft on XML

[ Lists Home | Date Index | Thread Index ]

I concur. This is a technical list for technical discussions about XML and related technologies. I doubt there is anyone XML-DEV who isn't aware of how much support Microsoft and the rest of the software industry has given XML or how widely it is utilized and deployed.

Actually, I'm quite definitely not interested in marketing blather.

If Steve Ballmer suddenly has something to say at the level of XML this
list typically discusses, I'll be happy to see it - perhaps Mr. Ballmer
might take some time from his busy schedule to discuss it.

In the meantime, I think most of us have gotten used to seeing XML used
in commercials ("he doesn't know what XML is") and cited in popular
magazines (Scientific American, Business Week, The Economist, Forbes,
etc.) that we don't need to be reminded that the technical work we do
	lights up business people's pipes.
