Agree completely. In fact, I've invented an absolutely
reliable URN resolution scheme: don't bother trying to
resolve them.
This works perfectly for namespace names, RDF property names,
and all the other places that use URIs for names.

Yep. There's always someone insisting that well, someday
you *might* want to resolve it, so you'd better stick with
HTTP, just in case.
