I agree with you. That's twice I have done that in about 10 minutes. This is a very strange day! :)
It's also a false premise that hundreds of millions of people are producing every day stuff that is indexed by search engines. Reduce the figure by an order of magnitude or two and it becomes more credible.
b.) Your blog post is little more than "Wouldn't it be really cool if..." then labelling the really cool thing with a really cool buzzword.
Yes, it's a cool thing. The XML 1.0 Recommendation called it well-formed XML. Why do we need to invent another term for it?
The conclusion also seems pretty dubious to me. If there is a good idea in there somewhere it seems to me that it needs a more credible premise, further thought and clearer expression.
