It's a length. Your sentence expresses the relationship between two
lengths: the length of the Yangtze, and the kilometer. And that
relation is that the former is 6300 times the latter.
You sometimes see the axes of graphs labelled as, say, "length/km".
(Or you could also see it as a relationship between the kilometer and
1/6300: a kilometer is length-of-the-Yangtze of them.)
