i think the semantics here are important - it does what you tell it to 
do. this is not usually the same as what you want it to do :)

on a more serious note - a non-procedural program is more likely to what 
you want it to do, more often. simply because the number of instructions 
for a given result is significantly less and the structure is much simpler.
