I think that is Godwin's Law but nevermind.

If there is no technical basis for the claims made, there is
no case to be made for the claims of commission regardless of
agency. If there is a technical basis, then the claims made
of commission are an entirely different issue from that of
recommending technical changes that limit abuse. If such
recommendations are credible they inform the legislation
created to detect or prevent commissions of abuse.
That should be clear to even the most ardent supporter
or detractor of the accused.
The Godwin gambit is refused.
