Thanks for sharing this link.

I have seen at many places (and perhaps "glade" also) that GUIs are
specified with XML meta-data (like widget name, it's position on
screen, it's title and so on).

By GUI programming, I was not referring to this kind of meta-data. But
something like, AWT or SWT infrastructure code.
