MarkLogic has kindly made this list available
and the XSL list as well.

Yes, it is marketing for them, but this really is a
fine example of XML and XQuery in use. (I agree with the
browser war comments on defining XQuery)

Personally, I threw away years worth of semi-indexed
XSL-List  archives and said "thank you". The XSL-List
is a great place to mine for examples to use as
quizzes for beginner classes. This list is more for
me, "don't I remember Len saying..."
