Yes... but how many users actually used it?
(I write as one of the twenty or so people who have actually read ISO
10744 and can give its number from memory, and who have read DeRose &
Durand. (In fact, I think I have Steve DeRose’s copy of ISO 10744
around somewhere, which I should have returned.))

When people want to use your architecture, they tend to just use your
names.
