XSLT uses a version attribute.

In most cases it's not necessary to differentiate; it might be that I
didn't see the question though, sorry. Pretty much every XSD 1.0 schema
should also be an XSD 1.1 schema with the same meaning. See the appendix
in each of the two parts of XSD 1.1 that records changes.
