Agreed, but what was that [1] you intended? Surely not MicroXML?

And/or FtanML.  I'd be interested to know how your aesthetic sense reacts to that (modulo the |...| for rich text), Uche.

I remember skimming the spec when it was first announced (last year?) and I remember my first reaction was "eww!" Kinda like how a Python programmer feels reading Perl.  But I haven't really paid enough attention to it to really judge, and given the positive noises from some, I probably should.
