Re: [xml-dev] A question of necessity

I should mention at this point the paper I published at Balisage 2013 about transformation engines in MicroXML, which are a way of doing what architectural forms do, with some improvements of my own.  Unfortunately, this work didn't lead to any publishable code, but I think the ideas should still be of interest to AF fans as well as people who'd like to know more but are daunted by the perceived complexity of AFs (and even if not, the limericks are amusing).

Paper (using DTDs): http://www.balisage.net/Proceedings/vol10/html/Cowan01/BalisageVol10-Cowan01.html

Slides (using Examplotron): http://www.balisage.net/Proceedings/vol10/author-pkg/Cowan01/bali2013cowa0702-pdf.zip

Replace "pdf" with "ppt" to get the Microsoft PowerPoint version.
