If you use Saxon then you can generate an "SCM" file by doing
java com.saxonica.Validate -xsd:schema.xsd -scmout:schema.scm
and then the query /*:schema/*:element[@type="#IDREF"]/@name
will list the elements declared with type xs:IDREF.
If you want elements whose type is derived from xs:IDREF by restriction, list, or union, then the query becomes rather more complex.
To handle a "bunch" of schema documents, you could create a dummy top-level schema document that includes/imports the others, provided that the result constitutes a valid schema; if it doesn't, you could generate multiple SCM files and search across them using the collection() function.
