A standard code is arbitrary to the extent that a standard DTD or schema is
arbitrary. More important, you do not forego human readability. You can use
Xlink to map the code to text. For example, someone reading the English
version might see
<Waste> depleted Dilithium </Waste>
instead of <MS200> depleted Dilithium </MS200>.
