I believe that in the coming week,
the proper framework
for last weeks events will emerge as a criminal action.
That is, it is only an act of war insofar as it might
be
state-sponsored. Otherwise, it is an act by a
large, well-financed and
coordinated criminal organization
who have committed murder, kidnap, and
vandalism.
This may seem tepid or simplified, but it accounts for the
agencies
that will now come into play in certain responses and
the means
they will use. In effect, Osama bin Laden is nothing
more than a
zealous version of Al Capone who just
made the mistake of committing the St
Valentine's Day
Massacre, an act which dissolved his support in the
citizenry of Chicago.
The religious framework is
simple: In the Name
of Allah The Merciful, they have slain the
innocent.
There can be no greater sin in any religion.
Think of it like this: in a
healthy office culture,
political alliances and therefore office processes
are organized by who is the friend of whom. In an
unhealthy
office, these are organized by who is
the enemy of whom. The
differences of outcome
and network
design are profound.

To people who think politics and warfare are a
matter for decentralization, now is the time to get in the loop.
